Client Match Group / Heirloom
Collaboration This is the second look for the Heirloom Apartment in Fremantle. The first was a Belgian Loft look, which was to appeal to a 35+ design-savvy demographic, while this look was to show the versatility of the space and appeal to a younger demographic. Furniture was a mix of young designer pieces, such as Muuto from Living Edge; the iconic, such as the Eames dining chairs (authentic, of course, from Living Edge); great pieces from IKEA, such as the Ilsa Crawford-designed bench; funky artworks in a mix of contemporary and indigenous pieces; geometric vintage kilims, which are the ultimate in entry-level authentic rugs and practical for those with kids and dogs; and a sofa with beautiful lines from Early Settler. I wanted to pull together a cost-effective apartment and show how you can balance a budget by finding cheaper pieces with lovely lines, so you can start investing in some authentic designer pieces, too.
